We visited Cadillac ranch recently. This place is really fascinating. Created in 1974 by a group called the Ant Farm, it is comprised of a number of cadillacs, all buried nose first in the ground to show off the variations of the tail fins.
It was actually located elsewhere but relocated to this field outside Amarillo Texas in 1997. People are encouraged to come up and spraypaint on the cars, and they do… a lot. So much, in fact, that chunks will build up and break off and fall to the ground, leaving you with these cool layered souvenirs you can take with you.
